The Judge makes his first appearance in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney as the judge of Case 1, The First Turnabout, and carries on to be the recurring judge throughout all four games.

A lovable old man that can be quite clueless, The Judge oversees everything that goes on in the courtroom between the defense attorney and the prosecutor, such as overruling and sustaining objections and calling witnesses to the stand. However, he can be easily convinced by the prosecutor to take their side as he becomes confused by both sides' arguements!

We never really find out his proper name, although we do learn that he is nicknamed 'The Great Judgini' for his justified verdicts.
