Release Information

This is the first game of the series and was originally released in Japan only on Gameboy Advance. In 2005, the series saw a revival with the original game being re-released on Nintendo DS in Japan and translated for the first time for other languages. Additionally, there was an extra 5th case added that was not present in the original GBA release which made use of some of the microphone and touch screen functions of the hardware. A PC version was released, effectively a port of the Gameboy Advance version. Also, in 2007, Capcom released the first 2 cases as Mobile Phone downloads. Additionally, the game will also be made available for download on Nintendo Wii's WiiWare service in 2009 (for cases 1-4) and 2010 (case 5).

In Japan the DS version was released with a special limited edition, as well as the standard edition. The limited edition pack included, along with the game, the Soundtrack, a special stylus and phone strap keychain and a guide and art book.
